The Prophet Muhammad (saw) always loved cats. His favourite feline of all was Muezza. Muhammad (saw) was so attached to him, he'd let the cat sit on his lap while he gave his sermons. He'd even drink water that Muezza had previously been lapping up.
There are several well-known tales about Muezza. One says that the cat saved Muhammad from the deadly bite of a venomous snake. Another relates a time when Muezza was asleep on Muhammad's robe when the call to prayers sounded. Although most people would have simply shooed away the cat, Muhammad instead cut off the sleeve of his robe so Muezza could rest in peace. He then stroked Muezza three times to grant him the ability to land on his feet under any circumstances, and also gave him seven lives.

When we talk about love, we must recognise that love is endless, and the love story of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) with Siti Khadijah, Radhiallahu ‘anha, is always an impressive to read. The Prophet Muhammad never stopped loving Khadijah, and although he married several more wives after Siti Khadijah passed away in later years and loved them all, it is clear that Khadijah always had a special place in his heart. Once Aisha, (the Prophet's beloved wife) asked him if Khadijah had been the only woman worthy of his love. The Prophet Muhammad replied:
“She believed in me when no one else did; she accepted Islam when people rejected me; and she helped and comforted me when there was no one else to lend me a helping hand.”
The Prophet always mentioned the name of Khadijah and the favoured friends of Khadijah, until Khadijah died. This is the story of Khadijah, the Prophet’s true love. It is a shining example of what an ideal marriage is.

After the death of Abu Talib, Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ life was then on danger, so He ﷺ left for Taif with the hope of winning them over to Islam. On reaching Taif, He ﷺ visited the 3 chieftains of the clan separately, and placed before each of them the message of Allah, and called upon them to stand by his Prophet's ﷺ side.

Instead of accepting his message, they refused even to listen to him, treating him with the most contemptuous and rude manner. They plainly told him that they didn’t like his stay in their town.

Muhammad ﷺ, who was a rock of steadfastness and perseverances, did not lose heart over them and tried to approach the common people, but nobody wanted to listen to him. Instead they asked him to clear off from their town and go wherever else he liked. When He ﷺ realized efforts being made mean nothing, he decided to leave but they wouldn’t let him depart in peace, rather they set the street urchins after him, to hiss, to hoot, to jeer at and to stone him. He was so much pelted at with stones that his whole body was covered with blood, and his shoes were clogged to his feet. Muhammad ﷺ left the town in this woeful plight.

When he was away from the town, safe from the rabble, he prayed to Allah;
“O, my Allah! To Thee I complain of the feebleness of my strength, of my lack of resources and my being unimportant in the eyes of people, O, Most Merciful of all those capable of showing mercy! Thou art the Lord of the weak, and Thou art my own Lord. To whom art Thou to entrust me; to an unsympathetic foe who would sullenly frown at me, or to an alien to whom Thou hast given control over my affairs? Not in the least do I care for anything except that I may have Thy protection for myself. I seek shelter in Your Light-the light which illuminates the Heavens and dispels all sorts of darkness, and which controls all affairs in this world as well as in the Hereafter. May it never be that I should incur Thy wrath, or that Thou should be displeased with me. I must remove the cause of Thy displeasure till Thou art pleased. There is no strength nor power but through Thee.”

The Heavens were moved by the prayer and Jibrail (AS) appeared before Muhammad ﷺ , greeting him with Assalamu'alaikum and said;
“Allah knows all that has passed between you and these people. He has deputed an angel in charge of the mountains to be at your command.”

Saying this, Jibrail (AS) ushered the angel before the Prophet ﷺ. The angel greeted him and said;
“O, Prophet of Allah! I am at your service. If you wish, I can cause the mountains overlooking this town on both sides to collide with each other, so that all the people therein would be crushed to death, or you may suggest any other punishment for them.”

Muhammad ﷺ said;“Even if these people do not accept Islam, I do hope from Allah that there will be persons from among their progeny who would worship Allah and serve His cause.”

This was the conduct of Muhammad ﷺ, whom we should all follow. He ﷺ was already given the opportunity to punish these people who have made him bleed, but instead of that his love and merciful heart shun this and chose not to give them any trouble.

A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said, “Never did I feel jealous of any of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) except for Khadijah, although I have never seen her.”
She added, “When Allah’s Messenger slaughtered a sheep, he said: Send it to the friends of Khadijah.”
One day `A’ishah mentioned Khadijah in a way that made the Prophet Muhammad (saw) upset. He told `A’ishah, “I have been granted her love (by Allah)”.

Prophet  Muhammad (saw) was not trying in any way to prove himself to be brave or courageous; rather, he was out only to raise the Word of Allah and render His religion the highest, and that is why he would always be in the frontline of battle no matter how fierce or hot it is.
During the Battle of Hunayn, despite the initial confusion and disorder of the Muslim army, he lost none of his resolve and determination and leapt towards the enemy lines. By so doing, he raised the spirits and courage of his Companions, until they were able to claim victory with Allah’s Help and Assistance. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) is reported to have said, as narrated by Abu Hurairah:
Allah guaranteed anyone going out (for Jihad) in the cause of Allah [the following]:
‘If he goes out with no motive other than faith in Me and belief in My Messengers, I will return him with whatever he acquired of reward or booty, or I will admit him to Paradise [in case of his death]’
Had I not found it difficult for my followers, then I would not remain behind any sariyah (military unit or detachment) going for Jihad.
Indeed, I wish I could be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then made alive, and then martyred and then made alive, and then again martyred in His Cause. (Al-Bukhari Vol. I, Hadith 35)
Yes, that was the wish of Prophet Muhammad (saw), to join the fighting forces and be martyred and be revived again to fight once more and be martyred again and again . All this only to raise the banner of Islam as high as Allah loves and to weaken or destroy the grip of the tyrants who forbid their peoples from listening to or even hearing the Word of Allah brought to humanity at the hands of Prophet Muhammad (saw) to enable these people to exercise their right to choose for themselves and not to be just blind followers of their despotic kings and rulers.
This is the very essence of war and jihad in Islam which abhors terror, fighting and warring but only uses force to restore the oppressed peoples their free will and ability to choice.
Another important point that should be highlighted here is that the bravery of Prophet Muhammad (saw) was not in any way a form of rashness or lightheadedness; rather, it was rational, reasonable and wise.
Let us take a look at the seizure he made to the Ta’if fortress which lasted for more than forty days during which Prophet Muahammad (saw) knew that the provisions and supplies inside the fortress would suffice those inhabiting it for at least one full year, if not more.
Thereupon, he, the brave leader, compared the advantages and disadvantages of the seizure – something like doing a SWOT Analysis –and found out that continuing the seizure would harm the Muslim State as the Muslim army is not just an army;rather, it is indeed the whole Muslim Ummahat large.
In addition, only a few men were left behind in Madinah to protect and guard the women, children and properties; hence, it is vulnerable to attacks from the polytheists and the Jews. Therefore, he made up his mind to abort the seizure, stop the operation and return to Madinah.
His bravery was also mixed with mercy and compassion so that he never used his courage but in battles for hoisting the banner of Allah high. Therefore, there is not a single incident throughout history in which the Prophet avenged himself on anything and he never used the force but for raising the Word of Allah.
`A’ishah reported that,
“Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) never beat anyone with his hand, neither a woman nor a servant, but only, in the case when he had been fighting in the cause of Allah and he never took revenge for anything unless the things made inviolable by Allah were  violated; he then took revenge for Allah, the Exalted and Glorious.” (Muslim, 5756)
This is how the Prophet’s bravery was based on certainty, resolution, principles and ethics; and this is how it became an example to be emulated by those who follow until the Day of Judgment… what a courage!

After his return to Madina from the Farewell Pilgrimage, Prophet Muhammad’s health began to decline. During the days of his illness he visited the graves of the Uhud martyrs and performed the funeral prayer. Leaving his house on another night, he went to Madina’s graveyard and entreated God’s forgiveness for those buried there. During this time, Aswad al-Ansi from Yemen’s Madhhij tribe emerged with the proclamation of Prophethood.

During this time, Prophet Muhammad suffered from headaches that intensified from time to time as well as high fever. During his illness, he went to lead prayers in the Prophet’s Mosque with the help of his Companions. On one such occasion, he climbed to the pulpit and said: “A servant has been allowed to choose this world or his Lord. He chose his Lord.” Immediately understanding that the Prophet was referring to himself, Abu Bakr began to cry, exclaiming, “My mother and father be your ransom, O God's Messenger!” The Prophet consoled him and told him that he was very pleased with him. Thereafter reminding the Emigrants and Helpers of their mutual sacrifice and virtues, advised them to act in unison. He later instructed those who had rights over him to come to him to ask for their rights. He counseled scrupulousness regarding the rights of others and paying debts on time, and cautioned against turning graves into temples, as witnessed throughout history.
The Prophet’s last will to his daughter Fatima and his aunt Safiyya is noteworthy: “Perform acts of goodness valuable in the eyes of God. Otherwise, I cannot save you from God’s holding you to account in the Hereafter in matters of the permissible and the prohibited.”
Prophet Muhammad spent his last days with ‘A’isha and when his illness intensified three days before his demise, he asked Abu Bakr to lead the prayers. At a point at which he felt better, he went to the Mosque with the assistance of ‘Ali and Fadl ibn ‘Abbas and when Abu Bakr, who was leading the prayers, retreated to allow the Prophet to return to his place, the Prophet indicated for him to continue and stood for prayer by his side. Following the morning prayer of the day the Prophet passed away, Abu Bakr visited him and upon seeing his situation slightly improved, sought his permission and retuned to his home. However, the Prophet’s condition deteriorated suddenly. According to ‘A’isha’s account, before Prophet Muhammad passed away, he said softly, “There is no god but God, how difficult it is to surrender the soul!” and passed away in her arms, with the words, “To Rafiq al-A'la! (the Highest Abode)” (13 Rabi’ al-Awwal, 11/Monday 8 June, 632).

Somewhere in this hill was the birth of Nabi Muhammad (saw). This hill was located behind Masjidil Al-Haram. Muhammad is the son of Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib and Amina bint Wahb. Abdullah was seventeen years old when he was married to Amina, a high-born lady of Yathrib, a city in the north of Makkah. He was not, however, destined to live long, and died only seven months after his marriage. Amina sent the tidings of the auspicious birth to her father in law, Abdul Muttalib, who came and gave him the name Muhammad.

Amina gave her child, Muhammad, to Halima, a woman of the tribe of Banu Asad, living in the east of Makkah, for nursing. As an infant, Muhammad spent the first four years of his life in the desert with his wet-nurse. Sometime in the fifth year of his life, she is reported to have brought him back to his mother in Makkah.
Muhammad was six years old when Amina, his mother died. He was then taken by Abdul Muttalib, his grandfather, to his home. But within two years, Abdul Muttalib also died. Just before his death, Abdul Muttalib called all his sons together and told them that he was leaving two “bequests” for them. One was the leadership of the clan of Banu Hashim, and the other was Muhammad ibn Abdullah, their nephew, an orphan of eight.
He then asked them who among them wanted his power and authority as the leader of the tribe, and who among them would take charge of the boy who had lost both parents. Most of his sons showed much eagerness to be named the leader of the tribe but no one volunteered to take charge of Muhammad. As Abdul Muttalib surveyed the assembly and contemplated the future of Muhammad, an uneasy silence fell over the scene. But it didn't last long as Abu Talib, one of his sons stepped forward and said that he wanted the son of his late brother, Abdullah, and that he had no interest in authority and power.
Abu Talib's forthright declaration clinched the matter for Abdul Muttalib. He decided to make Abu Talib not only the guardian of Muhammad but also the guardian of the clan of Banu Hashim. Abdul Muttalib announced on his death-bed that his son, Abu Talib, would succeed him as the new chief of Banu Hashim, and that he would also be the guardian of Muhammad. He then ordered the assembly to acknowledge Abu Talib as the new leader of Banu Hashim. The latter complied, and was then dismissed.
